Many people ask about, what type of keywords to use for website, whether highly searched or low searched keywords. Even this thing has made me think for a while and after dong some experiment I’ve concluded few results, which I’m gonna share with you all. Well this thing always makes us think for a while what type of keyword to use, because impact of keywords is different on different websites, with different I mean to say that keywords with different rankings are related with the topic on which different sites are made and also the age of the website matters too.
Now I’m gonna tell few ways for both the beginners and advance users, these results are based on my 2 year research work and the things which I learned from my experience.
First of all, when you a website, choose the appropriate topic for it (Read This How To Choose Topic For Website). As appropriate website topic can result in unbelievable results of website optimization.
Second thing now we come to keywords, so question is what type of keywords to use either highly searched or low searched. The type of keywords you place on your site depends upon the age and topic of your website.
If you have made a site on highly searched topics then you must go for low searched keywords and if you have made site on unique topic or topic which is not frequently searched then you must go for high ranking keywords. (Read This Find Your Target Audience)

Log on to Google Adwords Keyword Tool, be sure that you are logged in, as you can see a great difference in results when you are logged in and when you are logged out.

The main thing we have to focus on is local monthly search, if you are a beginner. The reason behind this is that, as you have started your new website, you will get more traffic from your local areas rather than from outside world, so its better to gain more and more traffic from your local areas and make a good reputation of your site, then you can shift to Global monthly search.
