NDMC partners Tata Docomo  to launch public WiFi in Connaught Place.

 

In consonance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India’ project, the New Delhi Municipal Council on Sunday launched Wi-Fi services in Connaught Place, the business hub of the capital.

Delhiites visiting the Connaught Place market will now be able to avail Wi-Fi services which were launched by New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi at the Central Park.
The launch is in sync with the emerging trends of data consumption especially by the younger generation for whom it is imperative to stay connected round-the-clock

To enjoy Wi-Fi service the user needs to authenticate with a valid mobile number in a Wi-Fi enabled device. Post which the user receives a one time password (OTP) to login and use the service free for 20 minutes. Those who wish to continue enjoying the experience can opt for recharge cards of various denominations, which are easily available online and at Tata Docomo retail outlets. The recharge cards are available at Rs. 10 for 30 min, Rs. 20 for 60 min and Rs. 50 for 180 min of Wi-Fi access.
